Softball Saskatchewan has a great opportunity for those of you with a passion for pitching and the desire to help young pitchers develop their skills.  Softball Saskatchewan is currently recruiting Regional Pitching Instructors.

The primary role of the Regional Pitching Instructor is to be the pitching expert in their region in Saskatchewan and to be responsible for delivery of the five-week training session for both players and coaches. The Regional Pitching Instructor will also support and mentor pitching coaches within their region in Saskatchewan. They shall play a key role in assisting Softball Saskatchewan with the delivery and implementation of the CANpitch program.  Softball Saskatchewan is looking to expand our reach even further and ensure that CANpitch Clinics will be available in all regions of Saskatchewan.

Become a Softball Saskatchewan NCCP Coach Developer

Softball Saskatchewan is always looking for enthusiastic instructors to lead coaching clinics for our Minor Development.

Most clinic are held on the weekends, so your availability for at least two weekends during the spring and summer is very important to us. Softball Saskatchewan pays an honorarium plus meals and mileage to all instructors. You won't get rich but you will have a chance to meet interesting people, brush up on your knowledge and make an impact on the development of better softball in Saskatchewan.

Coaching Facilitators:

·         Must be NCCP fully certified one level above that which they will be instructing.

·         Must have an excellent knowledge of the basic skills and techniques of the game of softball.

·         Should possess very good fault identification ability.

·         Must demonstrate good teaching methodology.

·         Possess the ability to work with other instructors in presenting a clinic.

·         Having the ability to instruct and communicate effectively with adults is essential.
